| The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is an intensive six months program. Two-semester full-time program in two levels ? EAP I and EAP II with an alternating intake for each course at the beginning of each semester. It is ideal for advanced students who want to prepare for College or University in North America, or who want to challenge themselves in a more demanding program geared towards academic English. This course emphasizes essay and report writing skills, listening and note taking strategies, research and independent study skills and debate and discussion skills improvement. Students who complete EAP II and obtain a TOEFL score of 500 can transfer directly to our affiliated Colleges and Universities without further language requirements. The DeVry University has a partnership agreement with the Prestwick International College, academically qualified students who have completed Prestwick International College's EAP II program can directly accepted to the DeVry University without the English requirement. |
